BETSY BRO INDUCTED INTO IOWA GOLF HALL OF FAME |

| On May 6th, Betsy Bro was one of four people enshrined in the Iowa Golf Hall of Fame. Betsy made a name for herself in Iowa as one of the top women amateur golfers in the state in the 1980's and early 1990's. Betsy won the Iowa Women's Amateur five times between 1983 and 1991. Betsy's accomplishments are not limited to the state alone, she played in the US Women's Open in 1977 and has played in three US Women's Amateurs in her career. Betsy has also had tremendous success since leaving the state, she has won four Arizona Women's Amateur titles including three state match play championships. She has also had success on the national stage where she was a semi-finalist in the 1999 US Women's Senior Open. For more information on the Iowa Golf Hall of Fame click here. |
