2009 IOWA WOMEN'S GOLF ASSOCIATION ANN GRIFFEL SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS


Bailee Goodfellow - Iowa City, IA

Bailee has been active in golf, National Honor Society, Cross Country, Cheerleading, Business Professionals of America, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, and competed in tournaments with Cedar Rapids Optimist Junior Golf Association.  She will attend Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and major in Education.

 

 

Kaurie Kincaid - Knoxville, IA

Kaurie has been active in golf, National Honor Society, a Student Ambassador, volunteering at Knoxville junior and community programs, golf and basketball team captain, a member of the Knoxville Alumni Association Student Liaison, and tutor for Knoxville High School summer school .  She will attend Central College in Pella, Iowa and major in Mathematics.

 

 

Brittany Livengood - Eagle Grove, IA

Brittany has been active in golf, National Honor Society, volleyball, softball, Girl Scouts, Best Buddies, Wright County Humane Society volunteer, volunteer with the Food Pantry food drive, and a coach for youth softball.  She will attend AIB College of Business in Des Moines, Iowa and major in Accounting.

 

 

Stephanie Olberding - Cedar Rapids, IA

Stephanie has been active in golf, volleyball, a church volunteer throughout high school, participated in junior PGA golf tournaments, helped with school community service, and volunteered with flood relief.  She will attend the Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa and major in Engineering/Accounting.

 

 

Kelsi Sawatzky - Ankeny, IA

Kelsi has been active in golf, National Honor Society, Student Council, Student Ambassadors, a chairperson for the City of Ankeny Mayor's Youth Council, Student Think Tank, and a team coach for the Ankeny Volleyball Association.  She will attend Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa and major in Pre-Optometry.

 

 

Kelsey Smed - Waukon, IA

Kelsey has been active in golf, Operation Christmas Child, Waukon Swim Team, American Red Cross Fundraiser, Parkersburg's Tornado Clean-up, and served and cleaned up dinners for funerals at St. Patrick's Church.  She will attend Central College in Pella, Iowa and major in Interior Design.
